Conducting

Frank has been a conductor all of his professional life and has long experience particularly in Choral Music but he has conducted instrumental works by Vivaldi, Mozart, Mendelssohn, Bizet, Grieg and John Rutter. He has also conducted many musicals in school productions.

Piano

The piano was Frank's first love. He plays different styles of music – Classical (hear a sample) and Easy Listening (hear a sample). These are very suitable for background music at a Reception or Function.

Singing

Singing is Frank's passion! He trains choirs and singers and loves to sing himself. He is available to sing at Weddings and Funerals. He can provide the singing and accompaniment (including organ) at church ceremonies, and all private and business functions. He sings in various styles with Piano (hear a sample) or Guitar (hear a sample) accompaniment. This music is very suitable for Private or Corporate Parties and Functions (hear samples) both as background or cabaret-style entertainment.

Accompaniment - Piano and Guitar

All Frank's life he has developed his accompaniment skills and he can play accompaniments to any song he knows (and there really are thousands) in any key. This is very useful at a Party or Function where people like to sing a song. His repertoire includes Jazz standards, Light Pop standards and Musicals numbers.

The first video shows Frank conducting the first movement of Carmina Burana, performed by Wicklow Choral Society (Director Frank Kelly) and accompanied by the Degani Sinfonia, Leader Alan Smale.

The second video shows a small excerpt from the opening movement of Ola Gjeilo's Sunrise Mass, performed by Wicklow Choral Society and accompanied by the Degani Sinfonia. Both were performed in St. Patrick's Church Wicklow Town, May 2016.
